Chris Huggins
Chris' passion for baseball started at a very early age, which later led him to receiving a scholarship to play collegiate baseball for four years. In his first 2 years he played for nationally ranked Itawamba Community College (ICC) as a closing pitcher. It was there that Chris ranked 24th in the nation in saves for JUCO Division II and was selected to participate in the 2007 All-Star sophomore showcase. Following his 2 years at ICC he signed with Jackson State University (JSU) as a starting pitcher. While at JSU he held a 8-4 overall record with a 3.59 era with 62 strikeouts in 83 innings pitched. In addition to his accomplishments on the field Chris holds a Masters degree in Sports Management.
